LANNA CLOUD

Scope : architecture & interior design
Year : 2025
Status : Design Phase

When the recurring floods in Chiang Mai created the need to elevate houses so that most living areas could coexist with the water, this house design explored new ideas and methods of raising the building. The goal was not only to solve problems of daily living but also to generate beauty through its form.

The design further seeks to create a special atmosphere by shaping a form and image that feels like living among the clouds of Lanna—like a natural sculpture. This approach strengthens the connection between the interior and the landscape, giving the house a distinctive character and turning it into a true “place of memory.”
